Heat lightning over ocean

After the haiku writing & moon viewing beach-side party, sometime after midnight, we drove to the beach in Gotsu to watch heat lightning light up a cloud bank over the ocean, while the stars were bright and clear overhead. It was really quite lovely, though this scene is missing the lighthouse to one side, and the bright as day squid fishing boats on the other. The picture might be extended and those things added in at a later date.
